Technical Shareware for the Macintosh
- CMacTeX is a complete TeX
installation for the Macintosh. It includes TeX, pdfTeX, e-TeX,
Metafont, dvips, Metapost, makeindex, bibtex, dvi previewers, a
Postscript previewer and numerous utilities for manipulating files
and fonts. A complete CMacTeX installation requires about 30 MB of
disk space.
- MacGhostview is a Postscript
previewer for the Macintosh. MacGhostview allows the user to view
the pages of a Postscript document in any order, as long as the
document conforms to Adobe's Document Structuring Conventions.
- TeXTools for OS X This page
contains several programs which require a complete teTeX/TeXLive
installation. MacDviX is a dvi previewer for OS X which does not
require X11. TeXShell is a simple shell for running tex programs.
It is similar to CMacTeX but calls the teTeX/TeXLive binaries. The
suite of plug-ins for BBEdit on OS X can be used to run most tex
binaries directly from BBEdit.
All of these programs require OS 9.2 or later and run
natively under OS X.
